Hello there,

My name is Jeroen de Haan, I’m a game programmer from the Netherlands. I’m currently studying Creative Media & Game Technologies at Saxion in Enschede and I’m also the co-founder of BeeYou Games https://www.linkedin.com/company/beeyou-games/.

I have always enjoyed playing games. I still remember secretly playing games at night making as little sound as possible not to wake my parents. A couple of years ago I got more and more interested in how everything works in a game and how it’s made. I was already interested in becoming a programmer, so I tried to get as much knowledge about programming as possible. In high school, I got to learn some basic Python and HTML & CSS.

After high school, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in game development. So I applied at Breda University of Applied Sciences to get into the International Game Architecture and Design course. I was one of the few that got in, but unfortunately, I had to drop out. So the year after that I got into Creative Media and Game Technologies at Saxion in Enschede. I am currently in my fourth year and I’m enjoying every moment of it.

My passion for games and making games is still there. I am very eager to learn more and get better in making games.
